L.A. Dodgers, KFWB Ink Play-by-Play Pact

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Infinity’s KFWB(AM) have reached an agreement on a five-year radio broadcasting contract that begins in 2003.
“KFWB has a tremendous reputation and has been a legendary source of news and information in this city for 35 years. Vin, Ross and Rick are looking forward to being a part of this top-notch station beginning in 2003,” said Dodgers Senior Vice President, Communications Derrick Hall. Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully, along with partners Ross Porter and Rick Monday, will continue to call all the Dodger action.
Infinity Radio stations serve as flagships for 21 professional sports teams, including five other Major League baseball clubs.
The Dodgers have enjoyed long-term relationships of 13 years and 23 years with radio stations KFI (1960-73) and KABC (1974-97) since moving to Los Angeles in 1958.
