Lackness Launches Converse RF Supply House

John Lackness, formerly of Marti Electronics, has started his own broadcast supply company, Converse RF.
He has told colleagues that Converse RF will not be a “big box house.” He says he also will be mowing tower sites.
Lackness currently carries a few manufacturer lines and said he is seeking more.
The firm is based in San Antonio, near where Lackness got his start in radio, helping the late A.B. Gonzalez put a Class “A” FM on the air in Floresville.
