Here are the latest in radio station sales that have crossed Radio World’s sales desk.
The will be some switching around in coastal North Carolina as WBNE(FM) and a translator (W240AS) in the Wilmington area were sold by Sea-Comm to Sunrise Broadcasting, part of Capitol Broadcasting Co. The price was $1,850,000 and the broker for the seller was George Reed of Media Services Group.
In a related deal, Sunrise/Capitol sold WILT(FM), also in the Wilmington area, to Bible Broadcasting Network for $300,000. The broker on that deal was Greg Guy of Patrick Communications.
In Michigan, Livingston Radio’s WHMI(FM) in Howell has been purchased by Krol Communications for $3,500,000. The broker was Jason James of Patrick Communications.
Translators were the deal in Wyoming with Larry Patrick’s Legend Communications of Wyoming purchasing K290BJ-FX, Rock Springs, K298BO-FX, Jackson and K258CD-FX, Casper, the last two CPs, from Edgewater Broadcasting. The broker was Patrick Communications and the price was $109,800.
