Communications attorney Lauren Adams Colby died this week.
After graduating with his law degree in 1955, Colby worked at the FCC for two years, according to an obituary in the Frederick, Md. News-Post.
He then went to Fly, Shuebruk, Blume & Gaguine in Washington until 1961 when he opened his own office.
Colby was also a station owner; Colby purchased WTHU(AM), Thurmont, Md. in 1971. He moved to Frederick, Md. and practiced communications law there until a month before his death, according to the account.
Colby was 81.
