Le Salon de la Radio 2015 will be held Feb. 8–10 in Paris at the Centre de conférences et de réceptions Etoile Saint-Honoré.
The three-day annual event for radio professionals, featuring Switzerland as the honored foreign country at this year’s edition, will play host to some 50 exhibitors and dozens of conferences and workshops.
New this year is a space dedicated to “Digital Startup,” which the organizers explain, is in response to the strong demand last year for easier access to the event for smaller firms.
“Small organizations, and consultants starting their activity can book a mini-stand with a table to display their products or services to 4,000 French and international visitors,” said La Lettre Pro Radio/show Director Philippe Chapot and La Lettre Pro Radio Editor Frédéric Brulhatour.
Events scheduled during the conference include Zest Radio, which allows manufacturers to present their products in five minutes; “ON’R Radio de l’année” (station of the year awards); and “Les Jeunes Talents de la Radio et de la Télévision” (young radio and TV talent awards).
As in previous years, organizers will broadcast live highlights of the gathering each day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Radio World is a partner, alongside such organizations as WorldDMB and Radiodays Europe.
Exhibitors include WorldCast Systems, Netia, Audiopole, MultiCam Systems, ATS-France Nagra Audio, Eurocom Broadcast, Save Diffusion, WinMedia, Wheatstone, Digigram, Broadcast-Associés and RCS.
