Lectrosonics Hires Winkler

U.S. pro audio manufacturer Lectrosonics Inc. appointed industry veteran Karl Winkler director of business development. He had been business manager for pro audio products at Sennheiser Electronic Corp. Winkler will oversee efforts to establish new markets and develop new products with the goal of continued company growth and expansion.
“Lectrosonics is a company I have respected for many years,” states Winkler. “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to be part of the team.”
Winkler formerly served as brand manager for Neumann/USA, and also has a background in sound reinforcement and recording, having worked with the US Air Force Band in Washington and as an independent engineer in Los Angeles.
“His experience and expertise will enhance our growth into new markets with our new line of digital hybrid wireless microphones,” said Gordon Moore, vice president of sales for the company.
