Let the NAB Marconi Nominations Begin

NAB is accepting nominations for its 2003 Marconi Radio Awards. Twenty-two winners will be announced during the fall NAB Radio Show in Philadelphia.
The awards, named after inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi, honor top radio stations and personalities.
General managers nominate stations in the following categories: Station of the Year by Market Size, Station of the Year by Format, Personality of the Year by Market Size, Legendary Station and Network/Syndicated Personality of the Year.
Submissions are also being accepted this year via the members-only section of the NAB Web site or by nomination kits mailed to NAB member radio stations. The deadline is June 4 and finalists will be announced in July.
Winners are chosen by a selection “academy” composed of general managers, program directors, regional radio executives, owners, consultants and former radio executives.
