The New York Times reports that a Democratic investment group planning to start a liberal radio network says it is close to buying stations in five major markets.
Executives with Progress Media told the newspaper that if all went as planned, the network will be up running by early spring.
“Executives would not name the stations they are acquiring but said they reach all radios in five of the 10 largest media markets: New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Boston,” the story stated.
