Rush Limbaugh, talk radio provocateur that he is, has another side.
For 22 straight years the king of talk radio has conducted an on-air Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Cure-A-Thon. This year’s haul, which started with a three-hour bloc of time on April 13, was almost $3.3 million (through April 20) with Limbaugh himself personally donating $400,000.
A release from syndicator Premiere Networks noted that over the course of his career, Limbaugh has raised an estimated $34 million for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
