Lincoln Taps Windsor to Become VP of Digital Strategy

Former Maryland director of digital engagement will modernize blended media company

Lincoln Financial Media has chosen digital media and advertising executive Tim Windsor as its new vice president of digital strategy.

Windsor served as director of digital engagement for the state of Maryland during 2012–13. He has also served as the editorial director for AOL’s Patch.com and as director of digital strategy for The Johns Hopkins University. In addition, he spent 12 years at Baltimore Sun Interactive, working as vice president/general manager from 2005–08.

“It is imperative to remain at the forefront of technology as we connect with our consumers and clients,” said Lincoln Financial Media Senior Vice President of Programming and Operations John Dimick. “Tim has the background and experience we need, as a blended media company, to build those connections.”

“We want to meet our station listeners and advertisers wherever they are in the digital space, be it on browser, by text and email, on their phones or tablets,” said Windsor. “They count on digital media as an outstanding complement to traditional broadcasting. We will be focused on making our online and mobile experience even more entertaining, relevant and effective for our listeners and advertisers.”

Lincoln Financial Media Co. owns and operates radio stations in Atlanta, Denver, Miami, San Diego and West Palm Beach, Fla.
