Broadcast Electronics has promoted Jay Linderer to the position of director, RF engineering.
He will be responsible for the design, development and overall engineering of all RF products made by BE, the company said. He continues to report to Richard Hinkle, VP of engineering, who recently received a broader mandate including heading the new Technical Services department.
Linderer’s work at BE includes technical and project management in the development of the FXi series exciter, FMi series of HD Radio transmitters, 4MX 50 50kW AM transmitter and Marti PNP series transmitters.
