When the Super Bowl rolls around every year, the ads are usually one of the biggest draws of the broadcast. We still have more than eight months until next year’s big game, but if you want to get your fill of creative or funny ads before then, the Radio Advertising Bureau’s 2016 Radio Mercury Awards have you covered.
The organization, which recognizes the development of creative and effective radio commercials, recently announced its winners for 2016 and posted them online. The awards covered topics from best campaign, to Spanish-language commercials, student produced spots and most innovative use of radio.
You be the judge on whether the Mercury Awards got it right crowning Quikrete concrete company’s “Long Story Short” campaign as its Best of Show winner, or if any of the other winners were more deserving by listening here.
