Based on what the company said in its announcement about its online plans (see above), look for Clear Channel to put more emphasis in the future on exclusive content via local station Web sites.
That content will include in-studio performances, artist interviews and custom music videos.
Evan Harrison, Clear Channel’s new head of the online radio division, described the Internet as “a natural community extension of the current radio experience.” He said Clear Channel’s brands are “loved” locally, and “will be our front door for the online experience.”
