Senate Minority Leader Trent Lott, R-Miss., believes in the power of radio.
Speaking to broadcasters at NAB's State Leadership Conference, Lott said he doesn't like the price he has to pay for TV campaign ads, so he prefers radio spots. "I still believe you get the most bang for your buck in radio."
In high school Lott worked on-air on a school sports program at the station where his mother worked, WPMP-AM-FM, Pascagoula, Miss.
