KIRN(AM) reached agreement with the L.A. Lakers on a one-year deal for broadcast of Lakers play-by-play in Farsi. The station, airing at 670 kHz, is owned by Lotus Communications. It says it is the only U.S. commercial radio station broadcasting in the official language of Iran.
