Louisville Public Media has added Ellen Oost as director of development, effective June 1.
She will oversee the organization’s strategic fundraising.
Oost has spent the past six years in a variety of roles at 21st Century Parks, a 4,000 acre public park in Jefferson County. As director of development there, she spent three years launching their annual fund’s major gifts and membership campaigns and managing fundraising events, securing corporate sponsorships, grants and foundational support.

Prior to joining 21st Century Parks, she spent three years in account services at advertising agency Doe-Anderson. She also has held marketing roles at Anheuser-Busch InBev, PriceWeber and Traffic Builders.
Louisville Public Media consists of WFPL(FM), WUOL(FM), WFPK(FM), the Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting and Do502, a free online calendar service. LPM is also a member of the Kentucky Public Radio Network and manager of the Ohio Valley ReSource.
