Local Radio Networks Inc. has increased its affiliate base by 13 stations.
The new affiliates are KKGQ(FM), KIBB(FM) and KVWF(FM), Wichita, Kan.; WVIG(FM), Terre Haute, Ind.; KSAL(AM) and FM, Salina, Kan.; KZMA(FM) and KLUE(FM), Poplar Bluff, Mo.; KABI(AM), Abilene, Kan.; KZRD(FM), Dodge City, Kan.; WAUC(AM), Wauchula, Fla.; and WMYQ(FM), Moorhead, Miss.
LRN offers 12 different 24/7 format choices, programmed by radio professionals.
Radio Velocity Control, LRN’s proprietary delivery system, consists of a VPN-based technology that delivers control for customization and localization, which the company says exceeds “the limitations of outmoded satellite downlinks.” The RVC integrates into existing playout and automation systems, provides 100% redundancy, flexible clocks with no mandatory fill positions and a noncompressed music library with a variety of songs for each format, according to LRN.
AdLarge Media provides exclusive national ad sales representation for LRN’s formats.
LRN was co-founded by President/CEO Steve Swick and Chief Information Officer Will Mashione.
