Lynyrd Skynyrd To Boogie NAB Show

Lynyrd Skynyrd, will perform at the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner, Sept. 23 in San Francisco.
The band is best known for the songs “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Gimme Three Steps” and “Freebird.” A new album, “Edge of Forever,” has attracted a new generation of fans, According to CMC Records International, the bands record label.
The group recently performed at the Republican National Convention in Philadelphia.
The NAB Marconi Radio Awards will be hosted by Detroit’s morning show man, Dick Purtan, of WOMC(FM). The final event of the NAB Radio Show, the awards evening will be held at the San Francisco Hilton and is hosted by ASCAP.
