Nautel has hired John Macdonald as regional sales manager for the Middle East and Africa. He will be based in Quincy, Ill.
Most recently he was regional sales manager for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America at Broadcast Electronics. He also has worked in sales at ITC and Thomson Broadcast.
Macdonald is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. He holds a bachelor’s degree in geography from Humboldt State University and an MBA in international business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
The announcement was made by Nautel President/CEO Peter Conlon and Head of Broadcast Sales Wendell Lonergan.
The company said its sales team now has 11 people.
