Recent weeks have seen the implementation of changes at Mackie Designs, which the manufacturer says will help it streamline product development and weather an uncertain economy.
One major change is the consolidation of Mackie’s Product Development and Market Management groups into three market development teams: Live Sound Reinforcement, Recording/Broadcast and Contracting.
Mackie says sales have been solid and a record number of products are in development. But it also said it eliminated some redundant positions as a result of the structure changes.
Two sales positions were created to strengthen relationships with national Mackie and EAW customers. Mackie also recently completed the implementation of Oracle in its Woodinville and Whitinsville facilities.
