The Romanian parliament recently confirmed Ovidiu Miculescu as the new general manager of Societatea Română de Radiodifuziune, the Romanian radio broadcasting corporation.
With more than 20 years experience in media, Miculescu has held executive positions at the public broadcaster as well as at private radio and television stations.
Miculescu said that modernization of public radio and the resolution of issues regarding coverage throughout Romania were among priorities.
