The winners of this year’s NAB Marconi Radio Awards were announced here in Chicago Thursday night as part of the 2011 Radio Show.
The award was established in 1989, and recognizes excellence in radio stations as well as individual on-air personalities. It is named after Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi, who is known as the “father of long distance radio transmission.”
