Marketron, RAB Link Hands

Under Haley, the business software company sees itself as ‘hub of a burgeoning media platform’

In April, top executive Jeff Haley left RAB for Marketron. In May, Marketron reorganized its leadership. Now, in June, Marketron has announced a partnership with RAB.

Idaho-based Marketron makes sales and business management products for media organizations. Now the Radio Advertising Bureau’s Account Manager will integrate with the company’s Mediascape platform. Some 750 radio stations use RAB Account Manager. The integration “enables RAB Account Manager customers to connect with any Marketron traffic and billing solution,” the companies said. Haley made the announcement with Erica Farber, his successor as president and CEO of RAB.

The agreement is intended to give RAB users a more secure and streamlined electronic process to share data between the customer relationship system and the traffic & billing system. Haley, president/CEO of Marketron, said the integration “bridges a gap that we recognized in the marketplace.”

Marketron positions its Mediascape infrastructure as the “hub of a burgeoning media platform.” Marketron believes 80% of U.S. radio advertising “spend” flows through its systems. The company is owned by Wicks Group, which also owns Radio World publisher NewBay Media.
