Martin: ‘Do Cross Ownership Now’

FCC Commissioner Kevin Martin believes the agency should act on the newspaper/broadcast cross ownership rule by the end of the year. Speaking to the Texas Association of broadcasters, Martin said the planned approach, to bundle all the all the media ownership reviews into one, big proceeding, could take longer to complete than the spring timeframe anticipated by Chairman Powell.
