Michael Martin, currently working in CBS Radio’s West Coast operations, has been appointed as vice president CHR Programming for the whole network.
According to a release, CBS Radio has 10 CHR stations, including four in the top five markets.
Martin will retain his current as VP of programming at CBS Radio San Francisco’s music stations and PD at KMVQ(FM), KLLC(FM), KITS(FM) and temporarily “overseeing” the on-air operations of WXRK(FM) in New York, while it recruits a new program director.
The appointment is immediate.
Martin joined CBS Radio in 2009. Before that he had worked at several Los Angeles and San Francisco radio stations.
