RW Online learns that Marty Sacks is back with Telos/Omnia/Axia after a stint in trade publishing.
Sacks “has just signed on as Axia vice president,” the company’s Mike Dosch confirms to RW. “We are now the fastest-growing console/router company in the broadcasting industry and we needed some high-level talent to help manage that growth.” The manufacturer planned a press announcement shortly.
In late 2004, Sacks left ERI to become vice president and chief operating officer of Streamline Publishing, the parent company of Radio Ink magazine. In addition to a past stint at Telos/Omnia, he has worked in sales or engineering at Pacific Research and Engineering, Northeast Broadcast, Greater Media and First Media.
“With Marty focusing on our growth initiatives and team-building, I will be spending more time developing strategy and products,” Dosch said.
