Mayah Communications has a announced a workshop series focused on audio-over-IP. The seminars, in both German and English, will be held at the company headquarters in Hallbergmoos, Germany.
Topics up for discussion in the seminars include: changeover from ISDN and other synchronous networks to IP; IP basics and streaming protocols for audio and video; coding algorithms for audio-over-IP and gateway applications; session initiation protocol (SIP) and the broadcasting industry; audio-over-IP in wireless networks; and the SIP community.
German-language seminars will be held 15–16 October and 26–27 November. English-language seminars will be held 15–16 November and 17–18 January 2008.
