South Texas cluster goes for $2.5 million

The sale of a cluster of six south Texas radio stations to MBM Texas Valley was finalized.

The seller was a trust, Border Media Business Trust, overseen by W. Lawrence Patrick. The broker was Patrick Communications.

The amount was $2.5 million. The statins are a mix of FMs — KBUC, Raymondville, KESO, South Padre Island, KJAV, Alamo and KZSP, South Padre Island — and AMs — KURV, Edinburg and KVJY, Pharr. The stations are in the McAllen–Brownsville–Harlingen, Texas market.
