McConnell of ABC Recovering From Bike Crash

The senior VP of programming for ABC Radio Networks is recovering from a bicycle accident in which he suffered two broken neck vertebrae.
John McConnell, a competitive rider, had the accident Saturday. His employer said he is expected to make a full recovery and credited his helmet with saving his life and preventing permanent injury.
