MeasureCast Allies with Microsoft

In the U.S., MeasureCast’s streaming audience measurement service will be available for free download on the Microsoft Web site, say both companies.
MeasureCast also will provide Microsoft with support for future enhancements to the Windows Media server software.
“Audience measurement is critical to the streaming media industry,” stated Jonathan Usher, group manager for the Digital Media Division at Microsoft. “By providing MeasureCast tools to our customers we can help to ensure that content providers understand their audiences and maximize their revenue opportunities.”
