The FCC advisory group on how to keep stations on the air during natural disasters or future terrorist attacks will meet June 2 to review its progress.
Subgroups are working on what stations need to have in their “toolkit” for emergencies and local coordination for the Media Security and Reliability Council.
Hearst-Argyle Television President/CEO David Barrett now chairs the council, which was re-chartered in June 2004. The meeting begins at 10 a.m. at FCC headquarters in Washington.
