Mediaguide has added Syracuse to its radio monitoring network and says it is now in 43 states and 150 markets, and covers more than 2,500 radio stations.
Mediaguide services use digital fingerprinting and watermarking technology to monitor and measure the airplay of advertisements, PSAs and music. The organization was founded about eight years ago by ASCAP and ConneXus Corp.
EVP of Advertising Sales Joan Gerberding said the company has had “many requests” for the service from stations and advertisers interested in Syracuse.
“Mediaguide now monitors 105 stations in six MSAs in New York state,” Gerberding said in the announcement. “We will continue to add radio markets as the need for essential competitive music and advertising intelligence for radio grows.”
