Middle Atlantic Enjoys Clear Channel Business

Middle Atlantic Products said Clear Channel Radio has purchased “hundreds” of its MRK-4431 and MRK-4436 model racks as it installs new digital audio systems in its radio stations.
The company said the MRK series is suitable for radio broadcast automation systems that contain broadcast and IT equipment.
“Clear Channel continues to roll out Prophet System’s Nexgen automation system to the radio stations it owns and operates,” the supplier stated. “At each radio station, Clear Channel uses the Middle Atlantic Products MRK series to rack a portion of the Nexgen system, such as the file server and audio servers, as well as the network switches, patch panels, and KVM equipment.
“At the rate of four to six system installations a month, the large radio station network owner is using anywhere from 1 to 10 racks per installation.”
