Are you getting a 2011 model year Mini or a BMW radio-equipped motorcycle this holiday? Sirius Satellite Radio will be included.
Mini will include an introductory one-year subscription to the “Sirius Everything” package with the purchase of a new 2011 Mini vehicle, which Mini USA VP Jim McDowell says “ensures that every Mini includes a well-rounded selection of in-car entertainment options.”
HD Radio, too, is standard on all 2011 Minis, we reported this summer.
Mini USA is a business unit of BMW of North America, which includes the motorcycle group. Beginning with January 2011 production, BMW Motorcycles will offer Sirius as standard equipment on radio-equipped model year 2011 R 1200 RT, K 1600 GT, and K 1600 GTL touring motorcycles. BMW Motorcycle, too will offer the “Sirius Everything” package.
