The Media Networking Alliance has appointed new board members and also added pro audio equipment manufacturer Solid State Logic to the alliance.
The Bothell, Wash.-based AES67 promoting organization has appointed Rich Zwiebel, vice president of systems strategy, QSC Audio Products LLC as chairman of the board. Terry Holton, general manager of the Yamaha R&D Centre has been named vice chairman. The Telos Alliance’s VP of Sales, Support and Marketing Marty Sacks has been chosen as financial officer, and Bill Scott, VP of engineering and technology at Bosch Communications Systems, and Andreas Hilmer, director of marketing and communications at Lawo, were also appointed as members.
“We are confidently looking forward to an exciting second year for the alliance, with the expectancy not only of growth but of an ever increasing rate of adoption,” said Zwiebel.
The company will be participating in the live AES67 interoperability demonstration at the MNA booth, #344, at the AES Convention, where 22 commercially-available IP-networked audio devices from different manufacturers will transmit audio, proving the functional compatibility of the standard.
