U.S. actor and voiceover talent Bill Mondy has been using a Mayah Sporty codec to get time-sensitive V/O jobs delivered to clients from his home studio.
He handles jobs ranging from cartoon voices to local and national ad campaigns.
He told Mayah: “With many ISDN sessions a week I needed a codec I can rely on and that connects easily to any other codec that’s thrown at it … My home studio is compact and since I’m not a gear junkie I want the best equipment that takes up the least amount of space.”
He told the manufacturer he likes that it includes a mixer, two mic pres with phantom power and numerous inputs and outputs. “And I have to say it looks very cool in my studio.”
