Latin Global Entertainment Networks launched Movido TV, saying it will provide radio stations with video content for websites and mobile online channels, to capitalize on the growth of the Latino digital market.
Movido TV’s goal is to satisfy what it calls an increasing appetite for video entertainment among the 18–49 demographic. It says the 5- to 15-minute weekly programs are designed to give viewers a feel of television with the freedom afforded by “on-demand” viewing.
Radio stations will carry programming by incorporating a geo-filtering system designed to preserve market exclusivity. Programs are available on a barter basis. Movido promises to market each program and its affiliate stations with on-air promotions and daily prep material.
