Former PBS host and journalist Bill Moyers, who’s made headlines recently with comments about the state of American media, Tuesday will address an event sponsored by the new Future of American Media Caucus on Capitol Hill.
Rep. Maurice Hinchey, D-N.Y., chairs the 19-member caucus, whose members believe in an fair independent media.
Moyers served as press secretary to President Lyndon Johnson, publisher of Newsday, and spent nearly 35 years producing public television programming.
