Curtis picks up Wake Forest translator CP

Station broker Media Services Group has announced two recent sales.

In North Carolina, Curtis Media’s Eastern Airwaves operation bought a construction permit for Greensboro-area translator W228CM from Wake Forest University. The price is listed at $125,000. Bob Heymann on MSG’s Chicago office was the broker. Earlier in the year MSG brokered another translator, W249CN, in the same area for Eastern.

In Texas, Mason businessman Tim Walker and III & W Broadcasting bought KHLB(FM) and KZZM(FM) from Munbilla Broadcasting Properties for $130,000. Bill Whitley of the Dallas brokered the deal.

All deals are dependent upon FCC approval.
