Frank Mueller takes the reins at KUNV(FM) and its HD2 channel, at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
He replaces David Reese, who retired in March.
Mueller was operations manager for five years and a part-time instructor at UNLV. He is former operations manager for Micro Communications Inc. in the Salt Lake City area overseeing two radio stations; he also has worked for Simmons Media Group in Salt Lake City and KYKN(AM) in Nephi, Utah, as well as volunteered for stations in Nashville, Tenn., and Atlanta.
He has a bachelor’s in broadcast journalism from Brigham Young University and an MBA from UNLV.
