Jan. 31, 2001 is the postmark entry deadline for the Edward R. Murrow Awards, sponsored by the Radio-Television News Directors Association.
According to the RTNDA, Murrow Award recipients “demonstrate the spirit of excellence that Edward R. Murrow made a standard for the electronic news profession.”
The regional RTNDA Edward R. Murrow Award Winners will be announced in March. National winners will be announced in June. One Sept. 12, 2001, the award ceremony will be held in Nashville, Tenn.
