Musicam USA will tell attendees to NAB about its RoadWarrior LC.
It is a lightweight, portable IP/ISDN audio codec with a built-in telephone hybrid that allows users to still get the audio where it needs to be if an IP or ISDN link is not available.
It is also suitable for in-home voice-over talent with a home studio.
The RoadWarrior LC comes standard with MPEGL2, MPEGL3 and G.722 algorithms, a two-channel mixer with two mic/line switchable XLR inputs with phantom power, two independent headphone monitor outputs and ISDN U or S/T interface. It supports SIP/RTP/SAP according to the EBU group standard, making it compatible with other manufacturers’ IP audio codecs that support SIP.
