When the NAB Radio Board meets in June, it’ll seat its newest members.
The association’s Joint Board of Directors announced election results for the radio board.
New members include Heidi Raphael of Greater Media; Bill Hendrich of Cox Media Group; Bill Coleman of Team Radio; Bob Proffitt of Alpha Broadcasting; and Michael Oppenheimer of Clear Channel Radio.
Reelected members include Randy Gravley of Tri-State Communications; Matt Mnich of North American Broadcasting; Julie Koehn of WLEN(FM)/Lenawee Broadcasting; Dana Withers of Dana Communications; Monte Loos of Duhamel Broadcasting; and Mike Novak of Educational Media Foundation.
Raphael, shown, is Greater Media’s VP of corporate communications, a title that stands out in a group that consists mostly of company presidents, CEOs, COOs, VPs and market managers. She has a high industry profile through her work not only with Peter Smyth and company, but also with the Radio Communicators Group, the Mentoring & Inspiring Women (MIW) Radio Group, the Alliance for Women in Media and the Buffalo Broadcasters Association, according to her bio on the MIW website. She joined Greater Media in 1996 as marketing director of WRIF(FM) in Detroit.
