The NAB has announced the 50 finalists for its 2011 Crystal Radio Awards. The awards are given to select stations for the year-round commitment to community service.
The winners will be announced at the Radio Luncheon, April 12. Also at the luncheon, a Crystal Heritage Award will be presented to KBHP(FM) of Bemidji, Minn. for its community service activities, as announced previously. Ceremonies will also include the induction of Gerry House into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame and a speech by Brian Cooley of CNET on radio and the digital future.
