NAB officials met in Washington in January to discuss the digital radio transition.
According to an NAB newsletter, the association’s Digital Radio Committee convened on Jan. 16 for “a briefing by NAB staff and a committee discussion on the latest regulatory and technical developments relating to the transition to digital radio.”
The committee is chaired by NAB Radio Board member Rollie Johnson, chairman and CEO of Three Eagles Communications.
The group also saw the WHUR(FM) HD Radio Demonstration van; that station’s GM, Jim Watkins, is a committee member.
