NAB Hotels Are Cheap, Planners Say

Economy said to hold down prices

Will the economy hurt NAB Show attendance this year?

We’ll see; but for those who are going, it appears that travel costs may be low as a result of market conditions.

NAB stated this week that many of its official partner hotels have lowered rates by 20 to 40 percent for peak dates and that “shoulder night” rates are also deeply discounted.

NAB’s Chris Brown stated, “We encourage attendees to take advantage of these extraordinary rates and experience the tremendous value the NAB Show offers.”

Airfares appear low; a nonstop round-trip on Delta from New York to Las Vegas was quoted at $270 today on Travelocity, while from Seattle, Alaska Airlines had a $206 flight.
