A new series of awards will be presented as part of this year’s spring NAB convention. Organized by the NAB itself, the program is called the NAB Award for Innovation in Media, or the NAB AIM. It will be given in the categories of Content Creation, Content Management and Content Delivery.
Attendees will vote using ballots distributed in the Las Vegas Convention Center, an NAB spokeswoman said. Voting will close on the Tuesday of the show, with results announced Wednesday. Five winners in each category will be announced.
A panel of invited industry journalists from various publications, including Radio World, then will vote for a “best of best” in each category, to be announced after the convention.
