NAB Offers Underage Drinking PSAs for Teens

NAB says it is enlisting radio and TV stations across the country in an effort to prevent underage drinking as prom and graduation season approaches. The trade association released its Celebration Prom Graduation 2005 guide, which provides broadcasters with ideas for programming and promotions, in addition to scripted PSAs in English and Spanish that encourage teens to be safe in their celebrations.
Stations are prompted to air discussions with teens on how drinking and driving can ruin their future, and parents are invited along with school officials and police to offer their thoughts on underage drinking.
