Jeff Smulyan will keynote the NAB’s annual Human Resource Managers Symposium, which will be held Tuesday, May 6 at the Loews L’Enfant Plaza Hotel in Washington. Smulyan is Emmis Communications chairman and CEO.
Three panels are about workplace diversity including “Can We Live with EEO?”, “What It’s Really Like to be a
Minority Manager” and “Programs and Projects That Work for Effective Recruitment.”
Participants include James Dockery, vice president of diversity for Clear Channel Worldwide; Steven Golsch, chairman, NAB Resource Development committee and vice president of human resources for Radio One; Marilyn Kushak, vice president of sales/marketing, for WMAY/WNNS/WQLS, Midwest Family Broadcasters, Springfield, Ill; several other legal and human resource experts; and NAB officials.
