NAB Praises Broadcaster Alert Efforts

Recognizing broadcasters’ efforts to publicize storm and tornado alerts and victim relief efforts in the Midwest, NAB President/CEO Eddie Fritts stated: “Hundreds of lives may have been saved as a result of broadcast weather alerts, and stations are already organizing relief efforts to aid storm victims. Once again, broadcasters are demonstrating that local stations are a trusted lifeline to communities in crisis.”
